The Edmonton Garrison Military Family Resource Centre is excited to announce that we have received a limited number of subscriptions for access to the Maple Virtual Care Program with priority to current serving Canadian Armed Forces families who are newly posted to Edmonton (within the last 12 months) or whose first language is French.
Pilot Program – Maple Virtual Care
This free service will provide access to healthcare while searching to find a family physician starting as early as Oct. 1, 2019. Families who qualify will be able to talk to a Canadian doctor online anytime for medical advice, diagnosis, referrals, and prescriptions. This program will bring on-demand, virtual doctor services to a limited number of families until September 2020, via a partnership with Maple. Doctors on Maple can treat many common healthcare issues remotely, by consulting with patients via live chat or video.
